It was Women's Night Out at Calvary Chapel East Anaheim on October 17, 2019.  A couple of thousand Christian women were on hand to listen to Matthew West perform his songs, and to also attend the performance of Amberly Neese, a humorist and encourager.  It was a bit of a fight to get there via the 91 freeway on a Thursday afternoon (I guess any night is a fight on the 91 freeway, unless its 2am), but the performances were really worth the drive.

Meet and greet with Sam Kelly (DJ from the Fish 95.9), Matthew West, Nolan (also a DJ from the Fish) and Amberly Neese.

Matthew West (https://matthewwest.com).  Great voice and an awesome songwriter.

Amberly Neese (http://amberlyneese.com).  This lady has a talent for humor.  When someone can make you laugh out loud without resorting to profanity or dirty jokes, that is the sign of a talented comedian; now Amberly takes it up a notch by making your sides hurt with Christian humor and delivering a message with it.

A really great evening for those that attended.  This wasn't my first 95.9 The Fish event to cover, but was my first Women's Night Out event.
